This is the recipe I used on fifth day of Navratri as the bhag was banana.
Everyone loved those slices of banana in the batter.
- Cut the bananas in circles.
- Mix the egg, the sugar and the salt. Then slowly add the flour and baking soda while stirring. The mixture must be something like cake batter.
- Fill a frying pan with about 2 cm of oil and wait until it gets warm. Carefully roll each banana circle in the mixture and then put it into the oil until it gets like “golden”. Then turn the banana to fry on the other side. I fry them for about a minute or two on a gas stove.
And it is ready. You can add some ghee and honey on top.
